The kids, Abbe, Mom, and I headed out to our favorite restaurant, Wasabi yesterday evening. The kids really behaved well. Viv even tried a double salmon roll (which she said was gross). Abbe and Bubs had ice cream after dinner (Viv did not due to not cleaning her plate). Here they are polishing off some green tea and chocolate ice cream…

Bubs spent the night with his Memom last night and Viv relaxed with Abbe and I. Abbe and Viv played a little piano together…

And then I got one of the first drum solo serenades ever…

Later on that night, Abbe was chatting with a friend on facebook and being the loving and helpful boyfriend fiancee that I am, when she had to go away from her keyboard, I let our friend Liz know what was up…

I’ve got a busy, busy day today. After getting the kiddos to school this morning, I’m trying to squeeze in some coding time to build an Ajax autocomplete search for NitroVideo before I head for my induction/lunch into BNI Moorestown Chapter (big thanks to Jan for suggesting this), I need to get a quote for a potential furiousCMS client, then I’ve got a double guitar lesson for Sean, do homework with both kids, and then I’m meeting my buddy Bill from Dixon Hill for a meeting. After all that, I should be home to read stories with my kids and then chill out with Abbe and a glass of wine to watch the Flyers rearrange Cindy Crosby’s stupid face.

The Phils dominated the Rockies to take game 1 of the NLDS. Cliff Lee did what he does when he’s effective – he just threw strikes and kept the ball out of the middle of the plate. Two more wins boys, let’s go get ‘em.

Yet another busy day today…here’s a little joke I played on Abbe last night. I decided to take a shower after a nasty humid day and I needed a shave. So I decided to do it…

Abbe made me shave it off immediately. And boy, let me tell you, it’s hard to hold the douchebag pose… those guys must train for hours. I couldn’t stop laughing…

It’s freakin’ hot and I don’t like hot. At the end of the yesterday, Abbe and I took the kids out for a little canoeing off of 3 Beach and then came home to have some quesadillas. The happy toasted in imprints really cheered me up at the end of a humid, gross day.

I’ve got a bunch of projects that are just about to kick off. And bad news for my sleeping, they are going to all hit right around the same time. Ergo, I am doing my damnedest to take care of a handful of smaller projects to shorten the to-do list that is about to go apeshit.
