Reminders from Dad
Friday, March 2nd, 2012I found this between the seats of my car this week…
See, my car is my Dad’s old car and this is one of his nitroglycerine pill containers. He took nitro for chest pains. Dad was a notorious loser of things in his pockets where ever he sat. He probably lost millions of dollars in coins in couches in all of his travels. Honestly, when my father crashed into the couch after work, it sounded like someone emptying a soda machine change box. Finding this made me smile, I miss you Dad.
Also, this is a reminder (heart disease) of why I need to keep running and taking care of myself and yesterday, Titan and I got in a quick three miles. That was Titan’s second 3 mile run of the day (he also got up early with Abbe for a pre-work run) – somehow that dog still had tons of energy.
