I’ll be busy this weekend recording Eye of the Tiger in handfarts
Well, the Phils lost game two last night. Shields kept the Phils hitters off balance and the Phils left a ton of runners on base. Right now, Philadelphia sports talk radio has done a complete 180. Yesterday, the morning shows were contemplating if a 4 game sweep would be a good idea, today they are looking at Moyer taking the mound and deciding if we should pitch Hamels on two days rest to stay alive in the series. Philly fans, relax. Seriously, we left Tampa with a split and while that isn’t up 2-0, it is a great start to the series. This Phillies squad is a tough team and we’re still in a good position, 1-1 and heading back to our house. Keep hope alive. It’s only one loss…
I’m going to spend the weekend doing lots of recording – I’ve got a small stack of books (The Hidden Alphabet, The Scrambled States of America, and The Secret Life of Walter Kitty) to read as part of the next volume of “Daddy Reads” for the kids, need to post Youtube vids of me playing Sex on Fire and Laid from Jan’s guitar lesson this week, and I also need to make good on a promise to mamatulip to record Porkadillo, the song based on her post as well as a cheer up Flutter version of Eye of the Tiger (played in handfarts).

The “Vlad and Boris “Song for Sarah” YouTube was superb: we both wanted more.
Actually , all the Russians are laughing at Palin on their local TV stations, actually, the whole world is laughing at Palin (and McCain), disregarding the mentally challenged in some remote states, some hard-core Reps who love “a good old financial crash” or, well, all the people who never saw Saturday Night Live
Must check out all your YouTube videos asap.

I used to listen to sports talk radio in NY ( WFAN), It got way too irritating. I’m down to just reading the scores. But go Phils even though I live 90 minutes from Tropicana stadium.
