The kids and I took Yogi to Freedom Park to meet Desk-Humpin’ Chris and his extremely fast pit bull, Dahlia. Yogi LOVED it. As soon as we walked in the gated entrance to the leashless dog area, he was raring to go flying. And that he did. Yogi quickly found the small creek and got himself as filthy as possible. Yogi got along fine with Dahlia and all the other doggies, when he’s at a dog park, he’s all about finding a ball and swimming. Here’s some pics…

Later that evening, after the kiddos hit the bed. Desk-Humpin’ Chris and Shane came over to talk about building a website for Climate Skateboards, their new skateboard company that is quickly integrating itself into the Dirty Jersey skateboard scene. I’m really looking forward to getting to work on this site, this should be pretty darn cool. Be sure to check out their board designs – pretty frickin’ sweet.

Movie reviews…

Burn After Reading – not terrible, I think the accurate metaphor for this movie is this is like going to Chili’s. it’s not shitty fast food, but you’re not going to see anything new.

Twilight – this actually is shitty fast food.

sounds like it was a fun time.

as for twilight, if you think the movie was bad, it was an improvement over the book. yeah, that bad.

No plans to see the move Twilight, since after reading the book I felt like punching everyone in it.

I’m not sure why your post made me recall this treasured memory,
but when I finally reached the age I was set free in the gated entrance
to the leashless area called Antwerp sin city,
I was raring to go flying too.

Must have been the hormones :-)

THANK YOU! I thought I was the one with the problem since I was hearing so much about “Twilight” and everyone was raving about it. I just watched it too and your one line review is brilliant!

I’ve been waiting for people with smarts to weigh in about TWILIGHT so I could be affirmed that my decision not to read it was a correct one. Ha!

Same goes for your metaphor for BURN AFTER READING. You have summed up why I thought I might not want to see it…

I come here to feel better about the things I’ve chosen not to do. Like tattoo my ass.

    And grow muttonchops.

My doggie has been making friends too, but they all think he’s just a very fast chew toy, and I’m worried he’ll be eaten. Herbie doesn’t just love getting messy, he loves making messes. Just ask my dry cleaner how many times I’ve brought my duvet in for an $80 stain removal…
