’tis a wonderful thing you are giving your kids and students. My kids are immersed in music. Like it or not, they know life no other way. Amelia started piano lessons (after 6 months of begging for them) recently and is really enjoying them. It is a very special time for us when we practice every week and she is so proud when she “gets” it. The most arduous part for her is doing the written part of her lessons (musical alphabet notes, etc.), and I need to remind her and myself (and her teacher) that she is just starting kindergarten. Luke still thinks he needs to choose between being a musician and being an athlete, lol! One of these days he’ll notice that mom is both. Peace, friend.

Jeff Bridges was amazing and Collin Farrell worked for me. I wish he’d had more screen time. I lived in Oklahoma for many years and so the settings (esp. the music venues and hotel rooms) and the “extras” (folks in the crowds) all seemed like people I’d met.
